At PCC, we offer Transplant Centers and Charter Operators a comprehensive digital platform to coordinate and manage the transportation of organs and surgical teams. Our platform offers users Digital Scheduling, 24/7 Access, Realtime Data, and Actionable Insights.
How is payment handled? For Transplant Centers: The Transplant Center pays PCC based on the invoice they received.
For Charter Operators: Charter Operators are paid by PCC after payment is collected from the transplant center with our brokerage fee deducted.
What happens if there is a delay or issue with the transport?
In the event of a delay or issue, you'll be notified through your PCC account and via email. It is essential to monitor these notifications so that any necessary adjustments or communications can be made promptly. You can contact the charter operator directly using the contact information provided in your account to discuss the situation and explore potential solutions.
How do I contact support?
If you require assistance or need to contact support, follow these steps:
Log into your PCC account.
Navigate to the "Help" section by clicking on your profile icon.
Send [email protected] an email with the details of your issue. Be sure to include all relevant details and any error messages encountered to expedite the resolution process.
Transplant Centers
How do I submit a transport request? After you login to your PCC account navigate to the "transport requests" page and select the "Create Transport Request" button in the top right hand corner of the screen. Fill out all required fields in the form and then click "Create Transport Request" at the bottom of the form to complete the process. You must be a Transplant Center account holder to be able to submit a transport request.
What information am I required to provide in a transport request? The required information to submit a transport request includes Donor UNOS ID, Organ Type, Departure Location, Arrival Location, and Procurement Hospital Name.
How do I know which charter operators will receive my request? The charter operators that receive your transport request are determined by location and the specific safety certifications you require. Only charter operators that service your region and meet your certification criteria will be notified.
How do I evaluate proposals from charter operators?
To evaluate proposals from charter operators, log in to your PCC account and navigate to the "transport requests" page. Choose the specific transport request you are interested in by selecting the "View Proposals" button. You will find a list of received proposals at the bottom of the page. Review each proposal's details, including costs, time estimates, and certifications. Consider these factors carefully, and once you have made a decision, you can accept your preferred proposal.
What happens after I accept a proposal?
After you accept a proposal, the charter operator will be notified to proceed with the transport arrangements.
Can I make changes to a transport request after it has been submitted?
Yes, you can make changes to a transport request even after submission. Navigate to the "transport requests" page in your PCC account, select the request you wish to modify, and click the "Edit" button. Ensure all updated information is accurate before saving the changes. Note that you will be unable to edit the request if the status is "In Progress."
Charter Operators
How do I submit a proposal? After you login to your PCC account navigate to the "transport requests" page and select the "Send Proposal" button on the right side of the transport request you would like to send a proposal to. Confirm that you would like to provide service, and then fill out all required fields in the proposal form. Click the "Send Proposal" button at the bottom of the form to complete the process. You must be a Charter Operator account holder to be able to submit a proposal.
How do I decline a transport request? After you login to your PCC account navigate to the "transport requests" page and select the "Mark as Unable" button directly below the "Send Proposal" button on the transport request you would like to decline. You must be a Charter Operator account holder to be able to decline a transport request.
